Cross country, out of breath. That was so much running! I ran 2.2km and competed against other year 6 girls from other schools. That was more running than I ever done in my lifetime!
For each year level there were about 40 students across from 12 schools competing in the Manurewa zone. I was nervous walking to the starting line but was happy I had Aubree and Nebraska with me from school. Once we started running I felt good. Near the finish line I got really upset because my heel was really sore, never felt this pain before. I walked off but Mr Pese told me to finish the race, and so I wiped my tears and ran back on the track to finish it off.
I felt relieved and great after my race. My heel is sore but I was happy that I finished the race. I think I have done enough running for the year, Thank you for reading 🙂

Hello Linita, This is an interesting story of yours, I found it brilliant that you guys could walk a whole mile or less. I felt happy that you had Aubree and Nebraska by your side in project WY. Friendship is a beautiful and wonderful thing to understand and have. I felt sorry when your heel was sore, I hope you feel great everyday, You are like a boss-queen for participating the project Wy, I hope your sore heals in the mean time!
Hey Linita, hope your okay with your sore heel, and I hope you had an amazing day at Cross Country. Also I bet you were really good and, I think I wouldn’t be able to walk miles along the cross country. I also think you should add M.I.N.T.S but I hope you have a good day.
